Sorry for the lack of posts. We had a great vacation and got back in town late Sunday night after a day of traveling and visiting with friends in Canton. Monday we signed the lease on our new apartment. It is so much bigger than the tiny one bedroom we were in. We thankfully hired movers so Tuesday they came and moved us in 4 hours. Now I just have to unpack it all when I am not at work. I would love upload more pictures but I have packed my camera cord somewhere and I have not found it yet. I did get meet some of our neighbors tonight and they seemed very nice. Bob and I are both exhausted from moving and getting back to work this week. I am just ready to get settled in to our new home. I am so tired of seeing boxes everywhere I turn. We don't have our internet hooked up in our new apartment yet so I am not sure when I will get to post again. I will try to post soon with pictures, especially from our Georgia trip. Hope everyone has had a great week.

Headed South...
We are going home to the peach state. Notice I said we. Usually I am the only one able to get off work and go home but for the first time since we have been married and moved to North Carolina, WE are going home. It has been almost 6 months since I have seen my family and 10 months since Bob has seen his. This trip is long overdue. This actually the first time I will make this drive since last time when I got the blood clot, so my nerves have kicked in a bit but there will be lots of stops. This is also Izzy's first road trip ,we are so excited about taking her with us to meet our families, I am excited she will get to socialize with my parent's poodles. This trip is jam packed with things to do including Jamey and Jamie's Wedding Saturday. We are leaving this afternoon when Bob get out of class and coming back Sunday. I am so excited about this trip! Please pray for traveling mercies for us. ALSO check back here for a book review later this week and a giveaway!! Well I have to go finishing up packing and make sure Maggie (our beloved GPS) is in the car.

Drained...
Today was HORRIBLE!!!! I could really use a chocolate bunny now (but we are not eating our feelings around here). I am physically, and emotionally, drained. To put it plainly, I AM EXHAUSTED! I felt like all day I could not keep up, it was miserable! I am so glad I have tomorrow off, but then I will back in the ER Saturday. Ugh, the only thing about being off work tomorrow is that apartment is not packing it self and there is so much more to be done around here before we move! I think that cat picture sums it up! Ok enough blogging my bed is calling me!

National Champs....
Duke won the NCAA National Championship tonight! I was at work but happened to walk into the break room during the last 13 seconds. It was so exciting! It was honestly a pretty good Monday, busy, but not terrible! It is late or should I say early at 2am so needless to say it is bedtime for me!
Hope your Monday's went well!

Happy Easter....
I love EASTER! Today we celebrate the RISEN Lord! I am so thankful for the gift of salvation though I do not deserve it! I have been singing His praises all day! Especially the song Alive Forever by Travis Cottrell.
I love these lyrics:
Let the children sing a song of liberation
The God of our salvation set us freeDeath, where is thy sting? The curse of sin is broken
The empty tomb stands open, come and see
He's alive, alive, alive. Hallelujah!
Alive! Praise and glory to the Lamb.
He's alive, alive, alive. Hallelujah!
Alive forever. Amen
Let my heart sing out, for Christ, the One and only
So powerful and holy rescued me
Death won't hurt me now because He has redeemed me
No grave will ever keep me from my King
I'm alive, alive, alive, hallelujah!
Alive! praise and glory to the Lamb.
He's alive, alive, alive. Hallelujah!
Alive forever. Amen
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy of our praise
Worthy is the One who has overcome the grave
Let the people dance, let the people sing
Worthy is the mighty King.
You are worthy. Amen!
I just can't stop smiling, His sacrifice gives hope to those who have no hope! Sin and Death have no victory, Hallalujah!! Today has been wonderful! We spent the morning worshiping at New Covenant Fellowship Church. Worship was followed by a wonderful lunch at our pastor's house with a few other families from church. It was a great time of fellowship. Tonight we are having friends over. It has been such a blessed Easter.
Here are few pictures from today:
Aren't we cute :-)

Wrightsville Beach...
Hey Y'all! I can not believe my last post was #100! How crazy! Sorry I have been MIA lately. It has been a little crazy with work and classes for us. I am officially off my 16 weeks of orientation at work which means I am on my own completely now. I have my fist official shift Monday. With my new shift I am working come new hours I will now be working from 1pm to 1am. I am excited but won't lie I am nervous too! Remember my last post about how we need a vacation? One thing I miss the most about living in Mobile is being so close to the beach. This past Wednesday I had the opportunity to go to the NC coastline with my sweet friend Jessica. Jessica and I discovered that the beach was only 2 and a half hours away and since we were both off work, and dying to be in the sun, we planned a day trip. It was so nice to get away for the day. We went to Wrightsville Beach, NC. We had fun, relaxed, soaked up some rays and enjoyed the beautiful view.
It was a great day topped off with yummy sushi for dinner. I am so glad we had a chance to get away, we both needed it! Can you believe tomorrow is Easter? I know I can't. Hope you are having a GREAT weekend, I am going to finish watching the Duke game (Go Blue Devils!) then it is bedtime for me!
Night Y'all!
